  • Esha Deol's Godh-Bharai: When Jaya Bachchan Asked Panditji To Focus On Puja And Not Clicking Selfie

August 24 was a special moment for the Deol and Takhtani family. The gorgeous Esha and her hubby Bharat are expecting their first child and the entire khaandaan is prepping up to welcome the little member in their family.

It was Esha’s godh-bharai (baby shower) ceremony yesterday. Not just that, Esha turned into a bride all over again. This time the couple took three pheras instead of seven. Amidst of all the celebration, what caught everyone’s attention was Jaya Bachchan’s dialogue to a Panditji which left everyone in splits.

According to a report in Mid-Day, for Esha Deol’s baby shower ceremony veteran actresses Dimple Kapadia and Jaya Bachchan were also present. A guest at the event revealed to the tabloid how Jayaji spotted the team of Panditji clicking selfies and how she reacted to it.

The guest at the ceremony revealed, “The moment Jayaji noticed someone from Panditji’s team clicking a selfie, she reprimanded him saying, ‘aap puja mein dhyan dijiye’. Everyone burst into laughter!”

Talking about the intimate ceremony the soon-to-be-momma Esha Deol told the tabloid, “It was a wonderful ceremony with just Bharat’s and my families in attendance. Everyone present performed the ‘tel kumkum’.

As part of the rituals, Bharat and I took three pheras around the fire. I joked with Bharat that he was stuck with me again.” Esha also expressed how she was happy to see Jaya Bachchan at the function as she shares a very special bond with her.
