Actor-filmmaker Farhan Akhtar released the first poster of his much-awaited film "Rock On 2" on Friday.
 
The actor took to Twitter to share the poster. 
 
He tweeted: "Woohooo! Here we go... 'RockOn 2' poster. #ReliveTheMagik." 
 
"Rock On!!", a 2008 rock musical, launched the acting careers of Prachi Desai and Farhan. Farhan even produced the film, which also stars Arjun Rampal, Luke Kenny and Purab Kohli and "Rock On 2" is a sequel of the film.
 
The film was about the fate of a Mumbai-based rock band Magik, members of which reunite after a decade-long split.
 
"Ek Villain" star Shraddha Kapoor has joined the band for the sequel. She tweeted: "And Here it is! Shujaat Saudagar, Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal Purab Kohli Shashank S Arora #ReliveTheMagik 'Rock On 2". 
 
In the poster, Farhan in his bearded look seems ready to enthrall music lovers, while Arjun is seen striking a pose in the background. Purab also finds a spot in the poster. 
 
With tag line 'Every generation finds it voice', the poster is appealing and intriguing. 
 
If the poster is anything to go by, then the film will open a new chapter on music mixed with a myriad emotions intertwined with drama on the silver screen. 
 
 
"Rock On 2", directed by Shujaat Saudagar, is set to release on November 11. It also features Shashank Arora.
 
"Rock On 2" will not only be backed by powerful music, but also by the scenic beauty of northeast India. A major portion of the film has been shot in Shillong - which is often referred to as India's rock capital.
