  • First Look: Katrina Goes Monochrome Before Cannes Debut
With all eyes set on her red carpet debut at the 68th Cannes International Film Festival, Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif chose to don a black and white ensemble before the big event.

The look for her maiden outing at the 68th Festival de Cannes is shrouded in secrecy as she is prepping up for her appearance on the red carpet on Wednesday and Thursday.

The “Bang Bang!” star, who left for the film gala on Monday, was also seen talking to media about her first time at the film festival.

Katrina, who had earlier emphasised that she wants to enjoy the film fest without fretting over her looks, picked up a white crop top and skirt from MILLY creation with shoes by Manolo Blahnik and jewellery by Maria Francesca Pepe, read a statement.

The 31-year-old completed her look with sleek auburn hair with luminescent makeup and nude lips.

Katrina, who is attending the film fest as a L'Oreal Paris brand ambassador, also took to micro-blogging site Twitter to share a glimpse of her journey.

Her fellow L’Oréal Paris brand ambassador Sonam Kapoor will grace the red carpet of the prestigious festival on Saturday and May 18.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who has been a L'Oréal Paris ambassador for more than a decade, will walk on the red carpet on May 17 and 20. The actress will complete 14 years at Cannes with L'Oréal Paris.
