  • Ghulam Ali Pays 'surprise' Visit To Mika's Concert
Pakistani ghazal legend Ghulam Ali, who will perform at Netaji Indoor Stadium in Kolkata on January 12, paid a surprise visit to Bollywood singer Mika Singh's concert here.

Mika, who performed with Ameesha Patel here on Friday, took to Twitter to share photographs of himself and the “Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai” actress with Ghulam Ali.

“Had a great show in #Delhi with beautiful Ameesha. And what a wonderful surprise entry by #GhulamAli ji,” Mika tweeted.

Ameesha also took to the micro-blogging site to share her excitement of meeting the Pakistani singer.

“Was such an honour to meet and have the ghazal King Ghulam Ali ji as chief guest last might in Delhi show with @MikaSingh,” she wrote.

Earlier it was announced that Ghulam Ali would perform at the Mohun Bagan ground following apprehensions that holding the concert at the iconic Eden Gardens may damage the ground ahead of the T20 cricket world cup starting in March.

However, on Friday night, West Bengal Minorities Development and Finance Corporation chairman Sultan Ahmed, who is the main organiser of the event, confirmed to IANS that the Netaji Indoor stadium would be the venue.
