  • ‘Good News’: Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan Groove To ‘Sauda Khara Khara’ Remix

After a gap of four years, actors Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor Khan will be sharing the screen once again in the romantic comedy ‘Good News’.

Directed by first-timer Raj Mehta, the film also stars Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani in lead roles.

Recently, reports surfaced that the two, along with the co-stars, were seen shooting for a foot-tapping number in Oshiwara building in Mumbai.

Sources said: “It is a recreation of the 1999 hit song 'Sauda khara khara' which was sung by Sukhbir and the video featured Bipasha Basu and Dino Morea. While the original was set around a wedding, the new one unfolds in a Delhi club”.

The remake is composed by DJ Chetas. He promised it would be one of the biggest hits of the year. He said: “It was a dream come true to work with Akshay sir, producer Karan Johar sir and Kareena ma’am on a film. I can’t get into the details of the track, but can promise that it will be one of the biggest hits of the year."

In ‘Good News’ Akshay and Kareena are playing a married couple, who resort to have a baby by IVF after seven years of marriage, whereas Kiara and Diljit are the Punjabi couple who help the duo conceive.

It is co-produced by Dharma Productions and Cape of Good Films.

The movie is scheduled to release on September 6.
