'Gulabo Sitabo' To Release On February 28

Darpan News Desk IANS, 30 Oct, 2019 06:49 PM

Amitabh Bachchan and Ayushmann Khurrana starrer "Gulabo Sitabo" is set to release on February 28 next year.

The makers of the film shared the first look of the movie and it shows Big B in an unrecognisable grumpy old man avatar while Ayushmann sports a de-glam look.

Gulabo Sitabo -- a legendary pair of puppet sisters -- have been part of Uttar Pradesh folklore. The film, a comedy, apparently, is a take-off on these two characters.

"Gulabo Sitabo" is directed by Shoojit Sircar and has been written by Juhi Chaturvedi of "Piku" fame.

In an interview earlier to IANS, Ayushmann had called the film's cast and crew a "dream team".
