  • Had A Ball Shooting This One: Akshay Kumar On 'Rustom'
Akshay Kumar will wrap up the shooting of the Tinu Suresh Desai directorial "Rustom" on Friday. He says he “had a ball” shooting this one.

Akshay, who will star alongside Ileana D'Cruz in the film, will return to his action avatar as a naval officer.

“It's time to rest the cap because its a wrap. Last day of #Rustom today, had a ball shooting this one! Mixed feelings,” Akshay posted on Twitter on Friday alongside an image of the officer's cap that he is wearing in the film.

This isn't the first time that Akshay is playing a defence officer in films. He had essayed the role of an Army officer in "Holiday: A Soldier is Never Off Duty". He was also seen in films like "Airlift" and "Gabbar Is Back" that experimented with the theme of patriotism.

The film is set to release on August 12.
