Actor Ranbir Kapoor has turned 33 and celebrated his birthday on the set of his upcoming film "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil" in London.
 
A photograph of Ranbir cutting three cakes was shared on Instagram by the film's director Karan Johar. 
 
"karanjohar#happybirthdayranbir #onset #aedilhaimushkil," Karan captioned the image.
 
The "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani" actor's mother Neetu Kapoor extended her love and birthday wishes to him on the photo-sharing website. 
 
She shared a childhood photograph of Ranbir and his sister Ridhima and captioned the image as: "Happy Birthday Rana! Wish u happiness n my blessings always. I have been sending all your msges to RK! He is very touched and has thanked everyone." 
 
She also shared a picture of herself with sister-in-law Rima and Ranbir on the eve of their birthdays.
 
"Birthday eve of my two favourites! Rima n RK," the veteran actress captioned the photograph.
 
Veteran actor and Ranbir's father Rishi Kapoor took to Twitter and wrote: "Happy Birthday, Lata Mangeshkarji and the late Shaheed Bhagat Singhji! Rima, my sister and son Ranbir share their birthday too. Be proud of it!" 
 
The actor is currently waiting for the release of Imtiaz Ali's "Tamasha", which is slated to hit the theatres on November 27 and Anurag Basu's "Jagga Jasoos".
