Harshdeep Kaur Collaborates With British Indian Composer For Upcoming Fusion Song Titled 'Challa'

Darpan News Desk, 16 May, 2018 12:15 PM
Singer Harshdeep Kaur has teamed up with British Indian composer MKSHFT for the upcoming fusion song titled "Challa".

"I was creating some modern sounds with Indian instruments when my management sent some of my work to (singer) Shilpa Rao. She really liked it and we booked the studio for recording the very next week," MKSHFT said in a statement about Shilpa with whom he collaborated for the song "Maahi".

"It took us around four hours to finish the whole track. We loved the vibe and we had something unique to present to our audience. We are also working with some other big vocalists from Bollywood like Harshdeep Kaur on a remake.

"It pretty much worked out the same way with Harshdeep Kaur. I'm really excited to be doing this fusion with famous Indian singers. I couldn't have asked for more," he added.

The mysterious masked composer and producer is known for bringing together influences of electronic music along with Bollywood fusion to create music.
