Anil Kapoor celebrates his birthday today. When asked about his plans, the actor said he wants “to spend one entire day with my whole family, if we can make that happen.”


The other members of the clan, including daughter Sonam K Ahuja, Rhea Kapoor and Harshvardhan Kapoor, too, lead hectic lives.


“With the kind of schedules, each of us in the family has, birthdays have honestly come to mean the few times that we all try to come together as a family and celebrate each other! As you grow older, the grandiosity of your birthday means less, than celebrating quality time with those you love.”


On the work front, the actor began 2018 on a great note with the success of Veere Di Wedding, which was made by his production house and starred beti Sonam. He also co-produced Indian original Netflix series, Selection Day, which is based on the novel by the same name by Aravind Adiga.


On the acting front, he was seen in a stylish avatar in Race 3 and also starred in Fanney Khan. Though the movies underperformed at the box office, the actor, as always was praised for his acting chops. He was also the voice of Baloo in the Hindi version of Mowgli.


The year 2019 will see him star in Total Dhamaal, Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga and Takht. He will also feature in the biopic on Abhinav Bindra’s life, which has son Harsh in the lead role. Anil essays the role of Abhinav’s father, Apjit Bindra.
