  • Honey Singh injured on 'India's Raw Star' set
Popular rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh, who will soon be seen in a new singing reality TV show "India's Raw Star", fell down and hurt himself while shooting for its first episode, said a source.

"When Honey Singh was shooting for the last bit of the first episode, an unforeseen incident happened with him. He slipped and fell down," said a source close to the show's production house.

"He faced minor bruises but his spirit was undeterred. He immediately got up and to everyone's surprise, created no fuss and agreed to re-shoot," the source added.

On "India's Raw Star", Honey Singh will be seen as a friend, mentor and guide to the contestants.

The show, where singers from across India will battle it out to bag India's Raw Star title, will be hosted by model-actress Gauahar Khan.

It will go on air on Star Plus Sunday.
