Hrithik Roshan's Super 30 Finally Gets A Release Date

Darpan News Desk IANS, 24 May, 2019 09:02 PM
  • Hrithik Roshan's Super 30 Finally Gets A Release Date

Hrithik Roshan-starrer Super 30 has been in the news since because of the controversy over the release date. The film which sees Hrithik play the role of mathematician Aanand Kumar was initially slated to release on July 26 but recently it was decided to reschedule the same.

Hrithik took to Twitter announcing that the release of the film had been deferred since it was clashing at the box office with the Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao-starrer Mental Hai Kya. Well now, it seems like we finally have a release date we could count as the one!

Reportedly, the makers of Super 30 have finalised July 12 as the new date of release. With this new date Super 30 will release a full two weeks before Mental Hai Kya, but the film will clash with Parineeti Chopra and Sidharth Malhotra-starrer Jabariya Jodi.

A source informs, “After the makers of Mental Hai Kya announced their release date as July 26, Hrithik was pretty upfront about avoiding a clash and negative propaganda that would spew out and that’s why he opted to change the release date.

Now with July 12 being finalised, the film will have a clear run at the box office with competition coming in only from Jabariya Jodi. However, given that both Super 30 and Jabariya Jodi cater to two very different audience bases, neither film will be affected much at the box office.”
