I Admire All Bollywood Heroines: Dwayne Bravo

Darpan News Desk IANS, 15 Oct, 2016 12:39 PM
He would love to work with Deepika Padukone, and has "quite liked" Jacqueline Fernandez. West Indies cricketer and singer Dwayne Bravo aka DJ Bravo says he would love to feature in a Hindi film, especially a Karan Johar directorial, if given a chance.

Bravo, who is participating in the dance reality TV show "Jhalak Dikkhla Jaa 9", is happily enjoying his involvement with Indian showbiz.

He hasn't watched many Hindi films, but talking about his desire to be a part of Bollywood, Bravo told IANS: "I am open to the idea of acting in a Karan Johar film opposite Deepika Padukone."

Asked about his favourite actress in Bollywood, he said: "I admire all the Bollywood heroines and happy to be associated with any talent. I met Jacqueline Fernandez on the set (of 'Jhalak...') and I quite liked her."

Sharing his experience to contest a dance reality TV show, Bravo said: "It is great to be a part of a dance reality shows like 'Jhalak...', where I am meeting some really talented, famous and interesting people. Dancing is always fun for me, but it is a little pressure on me when dancing as a contestant and being judged!"

Keeping the entertainment factor aside, the cricketer believes that one of the common factors between cricket and entertainment is the preparation and hard work.

"Like in cricket, we have to practice our game and be prepared, in acting or dance also, one has to put a lot of effort to look glamorous and perform on screen," said the multi-talented Bravo, who has also sung a peppy number for upcoming Hindi film "Tum Bin 2".

He has also grooved to the track in its video.

Asked if Bollywood would be his next career option after cricket, Bravo said: "Yes, there is a life after cricket, and why not entertainment? It would be great fun!"

"It was my second song with Ankit Tiwari. We performed the 'Champions' song together at the Indian Premier League opening ceremony and over time, we have become friends. I am meeting so many like-minded people here in the entertainment industry and it feels good to be a part of it."
