I Don't Believe In Relationship Goals: Esha Gupta

IANS, 29 Aug, 2016 01:02 PM
  • I Don't Believe In Relationship Goals: Esha Gupta
Actress Esha Gupta, whose latest Bollywood release was "Rustom", says working towards her career goals is all that's on her mind for now and she is not thinking about marriage at all.

A newly-appointed ambassador of jewellery brand ‘Hazoorilal By Sandeep Narang', Esha has said she would love to sport its pieces on her own wedding. But what are her wedding plans?

"Ha ha, no news on marriage. I don't believe in relationship goals. My areer is all I have to look forward to for now," the 30-year-old actress told IANS in an email interaction.

It is often said that marriage can affect an actress' career. Does she believe so?

"I don't know, but currently I am not thinking of marriage at all," said Esha, who after a modelling stint, tip-toed in Bollywood with "Jannat 2" in 2012.

She has since featured in films like "Raaz 3D", "Chakravyuh" and "Humshakals". And post "Rustom", she has her hands full with "Commando 2" and "Baadshaho".

With such exciting projects in the offing, what are your thoughts on how your career has shaped up in Bollywood?

"It's touchwood going well," she said. "Every film of mine is of a different genre and different role, so I can say I am doing what I always wanted."

For Esha, the efforts she puts in as an actor into her work, is all worth it when she gets audience appreciation.

"Seeing the love people give us, no money in the world can buy love and respect. It's an honour to get this attention."

Esha also delved on the toughest part of being in showbiz. "Every work is tough, but we work more than 20 hours a day and it's not easy to look our best and stay fit, eat healthy and take care of our health. So it's tough physically, I feel."

Since being in constant limelight, it's also required of actors to look their best all the times, accessorising right is one aspect actresses have to be careful about.

Personally, Esha is selective about the jewellery she likes.

She likes classic vintage pieces and says some of the creations available at ‘Hazoorilal by Sandeep Narang' stores in Delhi's Greater Kailash 1 M-Block Market, ITC Maurya Hotel and DLF Emporio Mall are masterpieces.

"When it comes to styling, I mostly prefer the Jaipur or Lucknow style," Esha said.

"Jewellery showcases the personal style of a woman. When it comes to looking out for pieces for myself, my choice varies according to the occasion. Like for an evening gown, I would like to pair it with heart-shaped diamonds necklace.

"Similarly, for a wedding, I would like to carry a bold design like a long neckpiece studded with beautiful emerald stones," she said and added that she feels incomplete without jewellery.
