I Don't Have Any Limitations On Going Bold: Akshara Haasan

Darpan News Desk IANS, 01 Feb, 2015 02:09 PM
  • I Don't Have Any Limitations On Going Bold: Akshara Haasan
Akshara Haasan, set for Bollywood debut with "Shamitabh", says she doesn't want to restrict herself on-screen.

Does she have any limitations on going bold on screen?

"If you limit yourself, you can't reach where you can. If there is a requirement for a role, I will do it. Why to limit myself? By limiting yourself, you lose opportunity to prove yourself. So, I don't have any limitations," Akshara told IANS.

Directed by R. Balakrishnan, she will be seen sharing screen space with megastar Amitabh Bachchan and Dhanush in "Shamitabh".

Akshara might be making her acting debut now, but the actress has been getting acting offers for long.

"I was not ready at that point of time. I was an assistant director so, that time I didn't take any step. Whoever offered me roles were very understanding. I told them 'I am not ready'. They said 'it's okay' and I am thankful because they understood.

"This film ('Shamitabh') came when I just decided to be an actress. I never thought I will work with Big B in my debut film," said the daughter of stars Kamal Haasan and Sarika.
