I Don't Want My Biopic To Be Made: Dharmendra

IANS, 02 Feb, 2016 12:48 PM
Veteran actor Dharmendra says he doesn't want a biopic to be made on him.

"My biopic will be so colourful that nobody will be able to do it. There is no other actor, who has my characteristics. Maybe nobody else will be able to do the things that I have done...It's very difficult," Dharmendra told reporters here.

" Although I hope somebody is there, who can make a biopic on my life...Though I don't want to make one..." he added.

The 80-year-old actor was here to promote his son Sunny Deol's forthcoming film "Ghayal Once Again", which also stars actress Soha Ali Khan in a key role.

The "Sholay" actor, who has produced the 1990 film "Ghayal" is also producing its second sequel.

Asked how was it producing both the films, Dharmendra said: "'Ghayal' has been seen by everyone...But taking it forward in today's time according to the thinking and the mechanism of the public...(I believed this will also work)."

Sunny will be seen essaying the role of an editor for a newspaper named "Satyakam", which also happens to be the name of a Dharmendra film, which came out in 1969.

The film will hit the screens on Friday.
