Actor-filmmaker Sunny Deol says both his sons -- Karan and Rajveer -- wish to have start their own career in acting and will make their debut on the silver screen soon.
 
While there were speculations regarding his eldest son Rajveer's debut, Sunny, 58, who will be seen next in forthcoming film "Ghayal Once Again", says he is directing the 23-year-old's first film next year which will be followed by Rajveer's launch.
 
"Both Karan and Rajveer want to be actors. I will launch Karan next year when he will turn 24. I will be directing the film. Then we will focus on Rajveer," Sunny said during a session at Agenda Aaj Tak.
 
Sunny feels that it is not only that star kids get the first chance to enter the industry as there are people from other backgrounds too.
 
Asked whether its a positive or a negative aspect for him that his son of Dharmendra, Sunny said: "I've never seen it that way. If I'll do that, I will not be able to work. 
 
 
 
"It's not that only star kids are there in the industry. There are people from other backgrounds too. I've not seen it as an advantage or a disadvantage."
 
While Dharmendra has tried his hands in politics, Sunny says he doesn't have any such intentions.
 
"When dad joined politics we didn't know much about it. But I don't have any such intentions. I'll never get into politics."
 
WE HAVE NOT GROWN UP AS HUMANS: SUNNY DEOL
 
Actor-filmmaker Sunny Deol, who is returning to the silver screen with forthcoming action drama film "Ghayal Once Again", says through this film he wants to show that though people have transformed themselves economically and technologically, they are still the same as earlier when it comes to being human.
 
The 58-year-old says the film is not a sequel to his 1990 hit film "Ghayal", but just like his role of Ajay Mehra taught humanity in that film, "Ghayal Once Again" will also delve into the same issue.
 
"I'm sure that people must have seen my film 'Ghayal', that's why I'm taking it forward. 'Ghayal Once Again' is not a sequel or a remake of that film. I found my character of Ajay Mehra in that film really interesting. That why I thought of taking it forward. I tried making it with many directors and writers, but couldn't find any decision," Sunny said during a session at Agenda Aaj Tak on Saturday.
 
 
 
"I wanted to see the relevance of my character that I played in 1990 in today's modern generation. I feel that though we have moved forward, become modernised and have advanced ourselves technically, but as human beings we have not grown actually. In that way we are same that we were at that time. 
 
"Just like there was a character of Balwant Rai in 'Damini', I feel there is a bit of it in everybody today. So, I wanted to bring that across and show what today's youth is doing and thinking," he added.
 
Apart from acting in the film, Sunny has also directed and written it.
 
"Ghayal Once Again", which is slated to release on January 15, also stars Om Puri, Soha Ali Khan and Narendra Jha.
