  • I'm Nowhere Close To Being A Sadhvi: Manisha Koirala
Actress Manisha Koirala says though she dons saffron-coloured clothes on several occasions, she is not planning to turn to spirituality as she still has miles to go before walking up the sacred path.

The 44-year-old, who has successfully battled cancer, took to social networking site Facebook to share her views.

"Good morning to all.....this is just to say that I have had a fortune of being in company of sadhu n sadhvi but I m no where close to being one!! I m in deep gratitude that Pilot Baba called me for mahamrityunjaya hawan...n I just happen to wear a saffron coloured clothes," she posted on her Facebook page.

The "Khamoshi: The Musical" actress also noted that her curious mind does ponder over the thought of renunciation.

"Yes, my mind has been dabbling with the concept of renounciation n sanyas but that's only coz I m inquisitive," she added.

Manisha then went on to mention that it is tough to lead such a life.

"From oneness I have learnt a lot..from the nature of our mind to how we all are conditioned by our past lives, while we were in mothers womb, our childhood, our circumstances etc..and to be free from such huge set of conditioning is almost impossible (almost impossible means..it's tough but doable!!)

"To be a sadhvi requires a lot more then mear wearing saffron coloured clothes,so I know I m no where close to it....though I wish,I could be one," she shared.
