I'm Open To Constructive Criticism: Diana Penty

Darpan News Desk IANS, 14 Oct, 2016 12:47 PM
  • I'm Open To Constructive Criticism: Diana Penty
Actress Diana Penty says she is open to constructive criticism, and would like to work on her flaws.

"If somebody has constructive criticism, why not? I am open to it...Like tell me what you think, if I feel like I can work on (it) or change (it)...but there are a lot of people who would say negative things for the heck of it...in that case, you need to distance yourself and just need to learn how to deal with it," Diana told IANS over phone from Mumbai.

The 30-year-old actress has mostly been trolled or made fun of on social media because of her surname.

Asked if social media trolls affect her, Diana said: "I think at some stage you have to learn to distance yourself from it (social media)... specially in this profession...you are in the public eye. Everything you do is scrutinised and analysed. You have to be very careful with your actions and words."

But the actress says it can get difficult.

"It does get a little difficult and taxing because at the end of the day you are only human and you want to react the way you actually think...but at some point I guess you start getting used to it and realise that not everyone is going to like you," added the actress, who was last seen on screen in "Happy Bhag Jayegi".

Diana added that "the best thing is to stick to positives, enjoy the positives and learn maybe from the negative".
