Pakistani actor Imran Abbas, who is gearing up for the release of his second Bollywood film "Jaanisaar", says it is his dream role.

"Jaanisaar" is a period drama based on the love story of a prince and dancer, played by Imran and debutante Pernia Qureshi respectively.

"I think for any actor this will be a dream role. Very few people make these kind of films, and when Muzaffar Ali offered this role to me, it was like a dream come true for me," Imran said.

Talking about the character he is playing in the film, Imran said: "The character of Raja Ameer Haider is close to my heart because this character understands music and shayari and I am also a student of music and shayari.
