  • I'm Priority No.4 For Poonam: Shatrughan On 35th Anniversary
Actor-politician Shatrughan Sinha and his wife Poonam completed 35 years of married life on Thursday, and the "Kalicharan" star says he was earlier the captain of their ship, but now he adheres to all her instructions.

"Earlier, she (Poonam) used to follow my path and I was the captain of the ship and would lead from the front. But now I'm behind her, adhering to all her instructions. This is because after 35 years, her priorities have changed," Shatrughan said at the cover launch of men's magazine Society here.

"How I used to be at the beginning, is now finished. Now I'm priority number four in the family after (our children) Luv, Kussh, Sonakshi and last but not the least, is Shatrughan," the 69-year-old added.

But Poonam promptly added that he had missed another important member, his daughter-in-law and Kush's wife Taruna Sinha.

"Okay, I'm priority number five now," the "Loha" actor quipped.

Shatrughan and Poonam, who tied the knot on July 9, 1980 have worked together in the film "Sabak".

On the occasion of her parents' marriage anniversary, Sonakshi took to photo-sharing website Instagram and shared a music video of the song "Barkha rani zara jamke barso" from "Sabak".

"35 years of togetherness!! Happy anniversary to my Ma and Pa... How cute are they in this song ??… https://instagram.com/p/46HFVLFdEu/," she wrote.
