Irrfan Khan has created an ever-lasting impression on the minds of film-goers with his impeccable performance, but for the critically-acclaimed actor, it is a person's scent that leaves an imprint in his mind. Naturally so, he is “very conscious about” his own odour.
 
“I'm a deodorant person. It makes me feel fresh from inside throughout the day. Your fragrance is the first thing which makes an impression and I am very conscious about my odour,” Irrfan, the face of deodorant brand Envy 1000, said in a statement.
 
The actor, who has created a route for himself to the west through films like “The Namesake", “A Mighty Heart”, "Life of Pi", “Slumdog Millionaire” and “The Amazing Spider-Man”, emphasises that he picks his fragrance for the day on the basis of his mood. 
 
“It depends on my mood and environment as well. If I will be going for an event or function, then of course I would prefer a spicy note and if I want to refresh myself, I will go for sweet or fruity note,” he added. 
 
The actor says he is not promoting fallacious ideas like girls getting attracted towards boys after spraying deodorant. 
 
“I have seen the spirit and the struggle of the brand's team. They always come up with the requirements of their consumer. I just want to suggest to boys that a deodorant cannot bring girls to you, for that you have to discover your own style,” the 48-year-old said. 
 
The actor, who is still basking in appreciation for his latest film “Piku” in which he shares screen space with Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone, mentions that he searches for positivity around him to work efficiently. 
 
“This is the foremost thing in which I basically focus on. Positive aura lets your mind work sharply and you will be able to contemplate on whatever you are doing,” he said. 
 
On the professional front, he will be starting work on foreign venture “Inferno”, in which he will share screen space with Tom Hanks.
