Indian Singer Akasa Singh Collaborates With Ricky Martin

Darpan News Desk, 17 Feb, 2017 11:21 AM
Indian singer Akasa Singh has collaborated with Spanish singer Ricky Martin for a English-Hindi mix song titled "Vente Pa Ca". She says it was a dream to work with him.

The duet with Martin for his recent hit reggaeton single "Vente Pa Ca" has been curated by Sony Music US and India and A & R teams, read a statement.

"Ricky Martin is a legend and working with him was a dream! When I heard the song for the first time, I knew I wanted to be a part of it. The hook of the song stays with you long after you are done listening and that's what I love about the song," Singh said in a statement.

The song has Martin singing in English, while Singh croons in Hindi.

"We reached out to Ricky and his management as we knew this would be a perfect match and Akasa's mellifluous voice gave this collaboration an instant nod. We are confident the duet will place her on a global platform and this is just the beginning, we have lots in store," Rohan Jha, Head Pop Sony Music, India said.

The song is available on music portal Saavn.
