Irrfan Khan’s ‘Hindi Medium’ Sequel 'Angrezi Medium' Goes On Floor In Udaipur

  • Irrfan Khan’s ‘Hindi Medium’ Sequel 'Angrezi Medium' Goes On Floor In Udaipur

As Irrfan Khan, who was away from the arclights following his neuroendocrine tumour diagnosis last year, is back on the sets to shoot "Angrezi Medium". His wife Sutapa Sikdar penned a message thanking everyone for the wishes and prayers for the acclaimed actor's speedy recovery.

On Friday, producer Dinesh Vijan released a photograph that confirmed Irrfan's return to work.

The image has Vijan, director Homi Adajania, actor Deepak Dobriyal, cinematographer Anil Mehta and Irrfan posing together.

Sutapa took to Facebook and wrote: "Longest year of our life - Time was never measured with pain and hope at the same time ever. While we take our baby steps back to work, to life, I am submerged in prayers, wishes and faith from friends, relatives, strangers and a connection with universe which gives us a small chance for the new start.

"It seems unbelievable... Never ever did I realise the meaning of the word unpredictable so well. Never ever I could feel people's wishes on my bones, breath, heartbeat which helped me to stay focussed and kicking."

Sutapa, who is also a film producer, added: "For today, we go back to work and the dance and song of life continues. Thank you for believing in your prayers."

The buzz about Irrfan shooting for the film, which is a sequel to his 2017 movie "Hindi Medium", had started earlier this week when he was spotted at the Mumbai airport.
