Is Salman Khan Opting For Surrogacy?

IANS, 10 May, 2019 11:49 PM

The one question that Salman Khan is frequently asked is when would he get married. But, the ‘Dabangg’ actor is reportedly planning to embrace fatherhood via surrogacy.

However, the 53-year-old seems to be in no mood to get hitched anytime soon.

The rumour mill suggests that Salman plans to go the Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar way to become a father.

“Since Salman Khan is not yet ready for marriage, our sources have told us that the actor is opting for surrogacy instead. Many stars from Bollywood like Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Karan Johar and Ekta Kapoor have opted for surrogacy in recent times”.

“And now, Salman Khan is also ready to follow this route since he has no plans to get married. The actor has always shared a close bonding with his nieces and nephews, and finally he is ready to welcome his own kid to the Khan family through surrogacy," the report states.

In 2017, in an interview with Filmfare, Salman had said that he wanted to have kids in the next few years. He said: “No, I don’t feel time is running out…but I am sure when I am 70 and my child is about 20, then I’d feel it. The only reason I’d want to have a child right now or in the near future, say in two or three years, is because I’d want mom and dad to see my child."

And if reports are to be believed, Salman would opt for surrogacy.

It’s a known fact that Salman is fond of children. In fact, in the past, the ‘Dabangg’ actor has gone on record saying that if he ever decides to marry, it will be for only for the sake of having kids.
