Actor Ajay Devgn, who is awaiting the release of his upcoming film "Drishyam", says his co-star Ishita Dutta is "talented and focussed".
 
Ishita, who is making her Bollywood debut with the film, plays Ajay's elder daughter. The actress was picked up for this film within two days of auditioning. 
 
"Ishita is quite talented and focused. She has acted very well in 'Drishyam'. I wish her all the best in her future endeavours," Ajay said in a statement.
 
Speaking about her experience, Ishita, who is the younger sister of actress Tanushree Dutta, said: "I consider myself lucky to work with a National Award winning actor like Ajay sir. As a newcomer, I've learnt a lot while working with him."
 
Ajay's only release in 2015 will witness him in an all-new avatar as Vijay Salgaonkar, a common man working as a cable operator who challenges the system when his family is threatened.
 
Tabu will be seen playing the role of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Meera Deshmukh in the film. A tough policewoman and known to be meticulous in her investigation, her prime suspect is Salgaonkar. 
 
"Drishyam" also features Shriya Saran as Vijay's wife along with the talented Rajat Kapoor.
 
A Viacom18 Motion Pictures and Panorama Studios Production, "Drishyam", a Hindi remake of an eponymous Malayalam film, is directed by Nishikant Kamat and releases on July 31.
