I've Neglected My Production House: Arjun Rampal

Darpan News Desk IANS, 25 Jan, 2015 12:48 PM
  • I've Neglected My Production House: Arjun Rampal
Actor Arjun Rampal, who became a producer with "I See You" in 2006, says acting offers made to him neglect his production house.

"When I produced 'I See you', I learned a lot. I was confident that I will produce more films. After that I did 'Don', 'Om Shanti Om' and 'Rock On!!'. I got so much work that I couldn't say no to them," Arjun told IANS.

"I was concentrating on them. I have neglected my production house but, first I am an actor then I am a producer," he added.

Arjun, who will be seen with Jacqueline Fernandez in "Roy", says she will surprise everyone by her performance in the forthcoming film.

"I was shocked when I was told that Jacqueline will be a part of the film. I have seen her dancing, working hard but, I have not seen her doing different range as an actor."

"But she has surprised all of us. I think everybody will say she is a wonderful actor after watching the film," he said.

"Roy" also features Ranbir Kapoor.

Old is gold in Bollywood!
I wonder why filmmakers shy away from narrating tales about elderly people with senior actors in the lead roles. Well-narrated stories revolving around ripe old age have takers, but such efforts are few and far between.
