Veteran actor Kamal Hassan met Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal at the Delhi Secretariat on Friday to discuss ideas related to promotion of the film industry and easing the process of shooting in the capital.
 
According to government officials, during their half-hour meeting, they discussed the issue of making Delhi a better place for shooting. 
 
“It’s a job intensive industry and we want more shoots to happen in the capital. We are also planning a Film City and a separate body for the industry headed by professionals to make things easier for shoots to happen (here)," Kerjiwal said in a statement.
 
The National Award winner also briefed the chief minister on the importance of skill development of the film workers and also discussed the fast moving technology in the industry among other things.
 
The "Papanasam" actor said that the government should ease the facilitation of film shootings and help in getting clearances and permissions smoothly.
