Architectural Digest India has done a special profile on Kangana and her home in Himachal for their May issue. Several pictures shared by the publication show just how gorgeous her not-so-humble abode is.

Kangana says she took inspiration from Irrfan Khan’s home when it was featured in an earlier issue of the same magazine. She also brought aboard the same interior designer, Shabnam Gupta. Kangana says that while her father took the decisions on where to buy the property, Shabnam was the only one who had a say in the house’s interiors.

One can see the snowy Himalayas from the large windows of her house, which also boasts of an all-glass conservatory. There are stunning paintings all around the house, bright sofas, seats and rugs to compliment the pastel walls of the rooms.

“I thought this would be a retreat but it’s the ultimate party house,” she said about her home. She says her parents, with whom she is really close, live a mere two hours away.

Kangana celebrated her 31st birthday at the new house in March by planting 31 saplings. Her sister, Rangoli tweeted the pictures. “On her b’day our little Queen gifts herself a greener planet ...May you live long and live a beautiful life .. #HappyBirthdayKanganaRanaut,” Rangoli captioned the photo.
