Karan Johar To Discuss Love Beyond Boundaries At Conclave

  • Karan Johar To Discuss Love Beyond Boundaries At Conclave
Filmmaker Karan Johar, who is in news for becoming a father to twins via surrogacy, will speak on 'Love Beyond Boundaries' at the the 16th India Today Conclave here.

A popular filmmaker, TV show host and now also an author, Karan will, be on the other side of the coffee table.

The session, Love Beyond Boundaries, is likely to be interesting given Karan's fatherhood as well as his book "An Unsuitable Boy", in which he spoke on his sexual orientation.

He wrote: "I don't need to scream it out. If I need to spell it out, I won't only because I live in a country where I could possibly be jailed for saying this."

Karan will also perhaps make an interesting candidate to discuss the issue, given the fact that he cast Pakistani actor Fawad Khan in his directorial "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil" which released amid much brouhaha last year.

The India Today Conclave, to be held on March 17-18, will also see megastar Amitabh Bachchan and superstar Shah Rukh Khan sharing the stage.

The two-day event will also see talented actresses Anushka Sharma, Alia Bhatt and Kalki Koechlin.

The Conclave will also touch upon the crucial topic of racial discrimination as actor and designer Waris Ahluwalia will shed light on living in Donald Trump's US. He will also present a short movie "Dear America".

Worldwide premiere of short films by Sudhir Mishra, Nandita Das, Tigmanshu Dhulia and Ram Madhvani will also be part of the event, where a Visual Reality film produced by Anand Gandhi and directed by Sooni Taraporewala will be screened.
