Actress Kriti Sanon, who is basking in all the appreciation coming her way for her latest film “Dilwale”, says dancing is very close to her heart, and is elated by the response from her fan and well-wishers post her first stage performance.

After making her place in “Dilwale” despite starring with big stars Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol, Kriti has given yet another reason to rave about her talent. The actress, who hails from Delhi, performed for the first time at an award function - Star Guild Awards, which was shot in December last year and telecast on Friday.

“I have always been very fond of dancing and this was my first performance on stage. I was nervous and excited at the same time. After the telecast, a lot of my friends and family called to say that they really enjoyed it," Kriti said in a statement.
