Lata Remembers Madan Mohan On 91st Birth Anniversary

    Melody queen Lata Mangeshkar on Thursday expressed gratitude to late music composer Madan Mohan on his 91st birth anniversary.
     
    The 85-year-old singer took to micro-blogging website Twitter to remember the music director, who was known for composing ghazals, mainly using the voice of Mangeshkar, Talat Mahmood and Mohammed Rafi.
     
    "Namaskar. Aaj mere Bhaiya Madan Mohan ji ki 91vi jayanti hai. Unki yaad ko main pushpanjali arpan karti hun, aur unko naman karti hun," Mangeshkar posted alongside a video of her song "Rasm-e-ulfat ko", which was composed by Madan Mohan.
     
    The music composer died in July 1975.
