Lea Seydoux named next Bond girl

French actress Lea Seydoux is set for global stardom after being signed up for the next Bond movie.

Seydoux, who starred in award-winning 2013 film “Blue is the Warmest Colour”, will feature opposite Daniel Craig in the as-yet-untitled 24th 007 outing, reports dailymail.co.uk.

It is not known whether she will play the spy's love interest or a femme fatale in the film, which is due to begin shooting next month.

Seydoux has also appeared in blockbusters “Inglourious Basterds” and “Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol”
