Actress Lisa Haydon skipped the promotion of her forthcoming film "The Shaukeens" here Friday as she is suffering from dengue, said her co-stars.
 
"Lisa is unwell. She was supposed to be here. We apologise for her absence. She is suffering from dengue," Akshay Kumar told reporters here.
 
Lisa was set to attend "The Shaukeens" event, a film which is tagged as a "coming-of-age" comedy, but couldn't make it due to illness.
 
Anupam Kher said that she was "recovering", but now again she is not well.
 
"Her mother has also come from Mumbai," he added.
 
Annu Kapoor added that she is "unable to stand and can't walk".
 
Written by Tigmanshu Dhulia and directed by Abhishek Sharma, the movie will release Nov 7.
