  • Livewire Ranveer Singh clocks five 'amazing' years in B-Town
"Amazing" is how Bollywood's livewire actor Ranveer Singh describes his five-year long eventful journey, in which he says he has been fortunate enough to "collaborate with the finest creative minds in Hindi cinema".

"It's been an amazing five years! Time has flown by. Feels like yesterday that I was a struggling actor going from pillar to post with my portfolio in hand.

"I had a dream start and a fantastic run after that. I've learned and grown so much. I've been blessed with wonderful opportunities to collaborate with the finest creative minds in hindi cinema," Ranveer told IANS.

Ranveer, who made his debut in 2010 with the film "Band Baaja Baaraat" as a raw Delhi boy, adds that it the love of his fans and well-wishers "motivates" him to improve with every project.

"I've been very lucky to have worked in some truly memorable films. The constant love and support of the audience motivates me to get better and better at my craft and become the best entertainer I can be. I am living the dream and loving every minute of it," added the 30-year-old, who never fails to impress with his wit, sponataneity and versatility.

A livewire on stage and on camera, Ranveer, whose fashion sense is also quirky, has proved his mettle in the various roles he has performed -- whether it was the 2011 film "Ladies vs Ricky Bahl", a romantic drama, or as a suave thief in the 2013 movie "Lootera".

In the last two years, the actor has won over the masses with a rough and tough act in "Gunday", and in "Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela", where he played the loud, brash yet winsome Ram Rajari, with flair.

Winning him immense critical acclaim and a huge box office success, "Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela" proved a breakthrough role.

The actor was also was seen in Zoya Akhtar's comedy-drama "Dil Dhadakne Do" and will next be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's "Bajirao Mastani", where he will be seen playing the role of the Maratha warrior Peshwa Bajirao I.

The film, which also stars actress Deepika Padukone and Priyanaka Chopra is slated to hit the theatres in December 18.
