Loved The Trailer Of 'Bajirao Mastani', Says Imtiaz Ali

Darpan News Desk IANS, 23 Nov, 2015 10:53 AM
Director Imtiaz Ali, whose "Tamasha" actress Deepika Padukone also features in "Bajirao Mastani", says he has immense respect for Sanjay Leela Bhansali, who has helmed the period drama.

Deepika managed the feat of working on the two diametrically different movies at the same time.

Asked about it, Imtiaz Ali told IANS during a train journey from Mumbai to Delhi: "My name being taken in the same sentence with Sanjay Leela Bhansali is a big compliment to me. I respect that man, I respect him as a director hugely and I loved the trailer of 'Bajirao Mastani'. I really look forward to what he is doing."

While "Tamasha" stars Ranbir Kapoor with Deepika, in "Bajirao Mastani" she has shared the screen space with Ranveer Singh and Priyanka Chopra.

Deepika has earlier worked with Bhansali and Ranveer in "Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela"
