    With 20 million views in 24 hours, Akshay Kumar’s upcoming drama, ‘Kesari’ has become a fan favourite. The 3 minute video turned into a hilarious meme in seconds.

     

    Akshay will play the role of a military commander of 21 Sikh soldiers named Havildar Ishar Singh. Parineeti Chopra is the leading lady of the film.

     
     
     
     

    The trailer features a scene where Akshay says, 'Chal Jhoota' to an Afghan warrior.

    ‘Kesari’ is based on the Battle of Saragarhi where 21 Sikhs fought against 10,000 Afghans in 1897.

     

    ‘Kesari’ is produced by filmmaker Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. ‘Kesari' is directed by popular Punjabi director Anurag Singh.

     

    The film is scheduled to release on March 21.

     

    Akshay will also be seen in ‘Good News’, ‘Mission Mangal’ and ‘Housefull 4’.
