Forbes magazine’s 2017 list of the world’s highest-paid celebrities is out and the Badshaah of Bollywood, at No. 65, is the top-ranked Indian.
 
With earnings of $38 million (approximately Rs 245 crore), Shah Rukh Khan is followed by Sultan Salman Khan at $37 million who ranks 71 on the list.
 
Akshay Kumar, whose all three releases last year—Rustom, Airlift and Housefull 3—made it to the coveted Rs 100 crore club was listed at the 80th position in the Forbes’ list. His earnings were recorded at $ 35.5 million (Rs 228 crore). Musician Sean Diddy Combs ($130 million), seizes the top spot on the list of world’s 100 highest-paid celebrities. 
 
Singer Beyonce is in the No. 2 spot: her $105 million payday, resulting from her Formation World Tour and Lemonade release is the second-best haul of her career. 
 
Author J.K. Rowling ($95 million) returns to the list at No. 3, followed by musician Drake ($94 million) at No. 4. Real Madrid’s football star Cristiano Ronaldo, earning $93 million, rounds out the top five.
 
The Forbes’ list  took into account the time period from June 1, 2016, through June 1, 2017.
