After singing and acting, singer Monali Thakur is set to judge singing reality TV show "Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L'il Champs" and says that she is excited about it.

"My 1st chhuttu guest appearance in a film 2. So I'm gonna be a judge in Sa Re Ga Ma Pa national dis season...promos 2 come on air soon," the singer tweeted Wednesday.

Zee TV will beam the show Dec 27, in which contestants will be divided into two groups with two captains. Monali is one of the captains with singer Shaan being the second.

Noted singer Alka Yagnik has also been roped in for the show as 'Maha Guru'.

Monali, who found fame through "Indian Idol", will also be seen in Aamir Khan-starrer "PK". Just like the plot of Rajkumar Hirani's film, her character's details are also kept under wraps.

Monali shared the news about her cameo in the movie on the micro-blogging website.

She posted a photograph with director Hirani, which was followed by another in which she was seen with a hijab (veil), hinting that Monali is playing the role of a Muslim woman in the film, which is set to release Dec 19.
