My Approach To Roles Changed With 'Akira': Sonakshi

Darpan News Desk IANS, 11 Nov, 2016 12:41 PM
  • My Approach To Roles Changed With 'Akira': Sonakshi
Actress Sonakshi Sinha, who is gearing up for the release of her forthcoming film "Force 2", says her approach to roles has changed for the better when she did an action-packed drama like "Akira".

"My approach towards my roles changed with 'Akira'. Since then I feel I have got it right and know the path I want to work on," Sonakshi said on the Zoom channel's show "Yaar Mera Superstar".

Sonakshi made her debut as a simple damsel in superstar Salman Khan-starrer "Dabangg" and since then she had been portraying a girl-next-door in various films. It was in filmmaker A.R. Murugadoss's 2015 film "Akira" that she was seen doing some daredevil stunts.

She will yet again be seen doing some stunts in "Force 2", which also features John Abraham.

Talking about the film's script, John said on the show: "If we talk about 'Force 2', then I would say my gut feel on the script of 'Force 2' was bang on."

The 43-year-old feels the film would have an instant connect with the audience.

"I had a thought that it would connect to the audience and they would like it and surprisingly to my relief the response that we've got post the trailer launch is fantastic," he added.

"Force 2", directed by Abhinay Deo, is releasing on November 18.
