  • My Dance Was Not Like Dance: Govinda
Actor Govinda, known for his dancing skills, says that his dance was not like dance.

"You might have seen several forms of dance, but the new forms of dance that are coming up... you get not just good health but also entertainment from it. You can create a lot of new things with dance. Dance is not just dance, but it has gone beyond it. All over the world when people wake up, it's not exercise they do, but dance.

"Pranayam is also done through dance, the heart remains happy, people communicate without talking. The numerous forms of dance and the ways of communicating without talking through dance is just attaining more and more success," said Govinda at the 3rd India Dance Week by choreographer Sandip Soparrkar.

The "Hero No.1" star showed his skills as a disco and street dancer during his initial days.

"My dance was not like dance anyway. That used to be the interesting part. People used to say that when Govinda dances, it does not even look like he is dancing," he said.

Govinda also showcased his energetic dance moves in his recent film releases "Kill Dil" and "Happy Ending".
