My Son Is Training To Join Films: Bhagyashree

Darpan News Desk IANS, 15 Oct, 2015 01:09 PM
Actress Bhagyashree says her son Abhimanyu is getting trained to become an actor and will meet people in the industry soon.

The actress made her Bollywood acting debut with Sooraj Barjatya's "Maine Pyar Kiya" opposite Salman Khan, but she doesn't want the superstar to launch her son in filmdom.

Asked whether she would want Salman to launch her son's career, the actress, who was at the launch of the festive collection of Amy Billimoria on Wednesday, said: "He launched Sooraj Pancholi. Let's leave it at that. He (her son) is training to join films. He hasn't started meeting people. He will do that soon."

But she did mention that she is looking forward to watching Barjatya and Salman's forthcoming film "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo".

"The promo is absolutely mind blowing. I am really looking forward to see it," she said.

Recalling her "Maine Pyar Kiya" days, she said: "Salman, Sooraj and I were absolutely new and raw. We all bonded well. For me, the most important part was when we shot the wedding sequence."

"When they were going to put mehndi on my hand, it was just two days prior to my real wedding. So, the entire shoot was planned in such a way that I could be given a nice send-off. So that is the very lovely memory for me," she said.
