Nimrat Is An International Actress: Akshay Kumar

Darpan News Desk IANS, 25 Nov, 2015 11:58 AM
  • Nimrat Is An International Actress: Akshay Kumar
Akshay Kumar calls his "Airlift" co-star Nimrat Kaur an international actress.

"Airlift" will present Akshay as a wealthy businessman and Nimrat as his better half.

"Nimrat did her job so well in the movie so, I call her an international actress. There are scenes that she did with so much of emotion and passion especially the climax scene. She is an amazing actress," Akshay said about "The Lunchbox" actress who also featured in American TV series "Homeland".

Talking about the gap between doing "The Lunchbox" (2013) and "Airlift", Nimrat said: "I was busy shooting for 'Homeland' for one and a half years. That took a lot of time. And when I came back... sometimes what happens is you are waiting to start working but the script doesn't come at the right time.

"So, it is a matter of chance. It's not like I planned for a two-year gap."

She has also been roped in for Saurabh Shukla's next yet-untitled venture.
