Out On Bail Salman Shoots Movie In Kashmir At Minus 2 Degrees

  • Out On Bail Salman Shoots Movie In Kashmir At Minus 2 Degrees
Director Kabir Khan is shooting for his directorial "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" with superstar Salman Khan at Zoji La pass, in Kashmir, at minus two degrees Celsius -- and he seems to be enjoying it.

He took to his Twitter handle to share the news and along with it, he posted a selfie with Salman.

"Minus 2 degrees... 11,700 ft above sea level... Zoji La pass... Kashmir #BajrangiBhaijaan," Kabir Khan tweeted Wednesday night.

"Bajrangi Bhaijaan" is currently being shot in Sonamarg, Jammu and Kashmir's picturesque hill station. The film is a story of a Muslim boy and a Brahmin girl.

It features Kareena Kapoor Khan as the female lead.

Can't re-examine Arms Act witnesses

In a setback to Bollywood actor Salman Khan, the district and sessions court in Jodhpur on Thursday rejected his revision petition for re-examination of five witnesses in a case of violations of the Arms Act.

Jodhpur District and Sessions Judge Manoj Kumar Vyas while upholding the decision of the chief judicial magistrate refused to interfere in the subordinate court's decision.

Salman through his advocate moved an application before the CJM court on April 22 demanding re-examination of five witnesses.

Counsel for the actor said that after three eight-year-old applications of the prosecution were allowed and four witnesses were examined a few days back, the scenario of the case has changed.

However, the application was dismissed by the CJM court on April 23. Salman had challenged this order by way of filing a revision petition before the district and sessions court.

Replying to the arguments made by Salman's advocate, the public prosecutor alleged in the court that actor was trying to delay the verdict. He raised strong objections on the petition.

"We will examine the decision of the court as soon as we get a copy of it and may avail an appropriate legal remedy," Hastimal Saraswat, advocate of Salman, said without commenting on the verdict.

Salman Khan and a few other Bollywood actors were accused of poaching blackbucks on the midnight of October 1-2, 1998, during the shooting of Hindi movie "Hum Saath Saath Hain".

Salman was accused of carrying and using illegal arms also as well as carrying arms with expired licence. A case of violation of provisions of the Arms Act was registered against him.
