After wooing the audience with his performance in the 2013 film 'Fukrey', actor Manjot Singh is back to tickle audience's funny bone with his quirky punchlines and perfect comic timings in 'Fukrey Returns'.
 
Directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, 'Fukrey Returns' is the sequel to 2013 film 'Fukrey'.
 
Talking about his character in the second instalment of the franchise, Manjot Singh said, "I think people are very excited after watching the teaser of 'Fukrey Returns' and their expectations are really high from us."
 
"This time around I am playing the character of Lali who handles his father's shop and my character has evolved with time now. It took three years to pen down this second instalment as a lot of research and hard work has been put in this film to live up to the expectations of the audience," he added.
 
 
The actor also wishes to experiment with his roles as he believes that he can even play serious roles.
 
"I really want to do more serious roles, I am working with Zoya Akhter for a web series called 'Made in Heaven' in which my character has different shades as it is a serious character with humour," he said.
 
Manjot has worked with filmmakers like Anurag Kashyap, Karan Johar and Vikram Aditya Motwani for films like "Udaan", "Student Of The Year" and "Azhar".
 
Sharing his experience of working with these filmmakers, the' Oye Lucky Lucky Oye' actor shared, "I have been directed by different directors and each of them had a different style of working. So, for me it was a great opportunity to learn while working. It's been a splendid journey till now."
 
 
'Fukrey Returns' which stars Pulkit Samrat, Varun Sharma, Manjot Singh, Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha, will release on December 8, 2017.
