Darpan News Desk IANS, 16 Nov, 2015 11:12 AM
'Peepli Live' co-director Mahmood Farooqui, who is facing trial here on the charge of raping an American woman, on Monday denied the allegations levelled against him and said he was falsely implicated in the case.

Farooqui, while recording his statement as an accused, told Additional Sessions Judge Sanjiv Jain that he has neither sexually assaulted the woman nor used force upon her.

The court concluded recording of his statement in the case and fixed December 3 for further hearing.

Delhi Police accused Farooqui of raping a 35-year-old American who was in India to do research for her PhD from Columbia University, US.
