The first look of Anupam Kher as Dr. Manmohan Singh, the former Prime Minister of India, has left people mesmerised.

The look was shared by Taran Adarsh, a trade analyst and an Indian film critic, on his Twitter handle.

Alongside the image, he wrote, "Anupam Kher's look from #TheAccidentalPrimeMinister... The political drama based on the book by Sanjaya Baru... Costars Akshaye Khanna... Vijay Ratnakar Gutte directs... Hansal Mehta is the creative producer... Produced by Bohra Bros... Filming commences in London... 21 Dec 2018 release".

The uncanny resemblance between the two veterans has been ensured for a movie on the political honcho, titled 'The Accidental Prime Minister', whose shooting has already commenced in London.

The film is an upcoming biographical political film, based on the life of Dr. Singh, the economist and politician who served as the Prime Minister of India from 2004 to 2014 under the United Progressive Alliance.

The film is directed by Vijay Gutte and written by Hansal Mehta. It is based on 2014 memoir of the same name by Sanjay Baru. It also stars Akshaye Khanna in a pivotal role.
