Playing Dhoni Was A 'Challenge' For Sushant Singh Rajput

Darpan News Desk IANS, 29 Mar, 2016 12:47 PM
  • Playing Dhoni Was A 'Challenge' For Sushant Singh Rajput
Actor Sushant Singh Rajput, who will be seen portraying Mahendra Singh Dhoni in his upcoming biopic “M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story”, says it was a “challenge” for him to play the Indian cricket captain as there was a “huge responsibility” on his shoulders.

“It is a challenge and more than that a huge responsibility, considering you are playing someone who is the most famous, loved and successful skipper of India,” Sushant, who starred in Kingfisher's cricket-themed TV commercial, said in a statement.

Sharing his experience of working on the commercial, Sushant said: “Shooting for Kingfisher’s #TheOriginalSocialNetworkcommercial has been great fun! I love the concept behind the campaign... As an added bonus, this TV commercial is themed around cricket, a game I am very passionate about and the whole country loves to play and watch."

Asked about the biggest thing he has learned since he became part of Bollywood, Sushant said: “It hasn't really been long. My first film 'Kai Po Che' completed three years recently. But I have learnt that I can look sexy.”

Besides "M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story", Sushant will also be seen in another film directed by Dinesh Vijan, for which he will shoot in Budapest.
