Filmmaker Karan Johar has refuted the rumours that actors Sidharth Malhotra and Fawad Khan have been signed for his production to be helmed by Shakun Batra.
He says an offcial announcement of the cast is yet to be made.
"No official cast announced from @DharmaMovies on @shakunbatra's next film! Please await an official announcement from our end....," Karan posted on Twitter Thursday.
Reports about Sidharth and Fawad featuring in Batra's film have been doing rounds for sometime. However, the filmmaker has said that cast has not been decided yet.
Karan took to Twitter Wednesday, revealing that Batra's next movie is a family entertainer, which the latter finished scripting in two months.
