  • Poonam Pandey's 'Connect' With Salman
Model-actress Poonam Pandey, often touted as the queen of controversies, not only wants to work with Salman Khan, but even draws a parallel between the superstar and herself.

"There is a good connection between us -- he loves taking off his clothes, and somewhere I do too, so I kind of like him for that," said Poonam, who first came into spotlight when she vowed to strip for the Indian cricket team if it won the 2011 World Cup.

"Since childhood and from my school days, I have seen Salman Khan. Every girl loves him and I also love him, honestly," she added.

Poonam is currently preparing for her film "Helen", in which she will essay a dancer. She is even taking dance workshops to lend an authentic touch to her character.

The actress often lands up in controversy for her up, close and personal images that or controversial statements.

She said that for "Helen", she does not want to do too much of "sleaze".

"But it's Poonam Pandey's film, so I won't disappoint my fans either. Controversy is like icing on the cake," she added.

"Helen" is produced by Vipin Medhekar and Suresh Nakum under the banner The World Networks. It is written and directed by Ajit Raipal, who earlier wrote "Nasha", which also starred Poonam in the lead role.
